Pratik Kothari of reQuire, LLC Honored as Windows Phone 7 Developer Hero of the Week
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.
July 1, 2011
reQuire, LLC announced today that Pratik Kothari, director of
information technology for reQuire, has been honored by Microsoft's
Windows Phone 7 (WP7) Developer Program as the WP7 Developer "Hero
of the Week" - an honor bestowed upon those who exhibit excellence
in the field of mobile app development. This recognition follows
Kothari's successful development of three apps - Mood Swing, Dress
Pal, and Gift Cards - available for download via Windows
Marketplace for Mobile.
"When Microsoft released this exciting Windows Phone 7 platform
last year, I was eager to start learning it," stated Kothari, who
has several years experience developing in .NET for a variety of
reQuire and personal projects. "Attaining goals is my ultimate
driving factor."
Kothari, who has been with reQuire since 2004, credits reQuire
with providing an environment that encourages creativity, thinking
outside the box, and cultivating the desire to push hard.
Additional credit goes to his wife for motivating him even further
with some creative ideas for applications. Mood Swing and Dress Pal
were two of those ideas.
"Now, that I know how the platform works and possess the
necessary skills, the plan is to apply this knowledge towards what
we do at reQuire to make us even better," added Kothari. "Stay
tuned for more!"
